A weather necessitated zero day at Fontana village resort lodge.
Big event so far is going down to the general store for groceries and the pit stop for wine while zag did her laundry. The whole group that had been hiking together the past few weeks is here, waiting on the weather to allow us a clear hike through the smokies.
Old goat did his laundry, silver streak printed out his smokies permit, scorched pipes cooked his lunch over the lobby fire place, John has been talking nonstop for hours in the lobby, dumptruck clever girl, Apollo, detour, are the ones who's names I know.
We're all just hanging out, catching up on correspondence and checking the weather every hour or so and its not changing. High on Tuesday is 28 with wind gusts to 30mph, with snow....not great hiking weather.
